It was great to talk with Paul Linnman again today when we met at the 1190 KEX Studios for an interview. He is doing a segment covering my West Linn book on his Morning Update radio show, which will air Tuesday Feb. 3 during two morning times,one for sure at 6:52 and the other around 8 am (with times subject to change)My interview is part of an Oregon 150th anniversary series he is doing, and the interview with me about West Linn’s history and the book I wrote about it will be the first in this series.
I met Paul years ago when I wrote a story about him and his Exploding Whale book for the newspaper. Paul’s a great guy and I felt a connection to him from the start on various levels of life including writing and community service and family and faith. He inspired me to run my first marathon years ago as he has done many himself. Paul, formerly of KATU TV, has been the anchor of the 1190 KEX radio Morning Update now for 6 years and he loves it. As always, he continues to do good getting positive messages out there to the world.
